Pricing
A plan sets how much your account can call the API: a rate budget, how many keys you hold, and how many stream connections you keep open. Separately, two fees can apply to a swap routed through Vulcx — they are independent and they add, neither is a share of the other.

- Limits are per account. Every key you hold shares one budget and one set of stream connections; more keys split your traffic, they do not add to it.
- The WebSocket stream is included from Starter up. Free-plan keys keep one stream connection until 14 November 2026.
- Billed in USDC.s on-chain, from a wallet you control, through a subscription you can cancel any time. Annual billing costs 10 months. Paid plans open soon.
- Protocol fees your swaps pay in the previous 30 days are credited against your subscription, up to the plan price.
- Requests without a key work too, on a shared per-IP budget of 2 units/second (burst 20).
The budget is debited by request weight, so a budget of N units is N quotes a second, or N/5 transaction builds, or any mix:
| Endpoint | Cost |
|---|---|
| /quote, /price | 1 |
| /cpi/route-accounts | 3 |
| /swap, /instructions | 5 |

Vulcx's protocol fee
15 bps of the swap output as of September 2026, the same for every caller, taken on-chain in the swap. It is set in the aggregator program's config account, which you can read yourself: 3YBXPNke…. Every /swap and /instructions response reports it as platformFeeBps.
Your fee
Charge your own users whatever you choose and keep all of it. It is paid in the output token to your wallet in the same transaction — Vulcx never holds it, so there is nothing to withdraw and no payout to wait for. Set a default per API key in the portal, or per request with integratorFeeBps and referrer.
The two fees together are capped at 100 bps (1%), enforced by the program. A request over the cap is rejected with a 400 before a transaction is built.
